    Default RNG and you

So, i really wanted to try a bard, i just like to command the pet, although it's tedious sometimes.

I have rolled tens if not hundreds of bards and all lacked some skill i really wanted so i gave up.

Today i told a story about a bard taming animals on the black druid level (DD7) and i had doubts whether animals on that level are even tamable, seeing how they're immune to calm monster spell.

So i decided to roll a bard and try it. So i rolled a drake, to have a better music skill.

What do you think? It gave me almost the IDEAL skill selection - Alertness (racial, so doesn't matter), Concentration, detect item status, detect traps, disarm traps, find weakness, food preservation, healing, herbalism, Literacy, mining, pick pockets, stealth, swimming and ventriloquism.

What are your interactions with the RNG?

    No Alchemy, 8/10.
I like my women like my ADOM loot - hunted as treasure and in extra quantity.

Ha! You're all jealous. I can wish for those others easily.

The thing is that i've never got such a big/good skill set before, like never never before.

I'd rather start with gardening and herbalism then do the carpenter quest.
    That way:
    a) no extra artifacts generated
    b) easier to do with a weak char
    c) the healer is an endless source of potions of ultra healing

But fine, this bard has a nice skillset no matter how you look at it, I know it takes some rolling to get what you want.
