Not a YAVP - a YAGUVP

I'm running a mist elf ranger, and found a GUV of some kind at the bottom of the Giant Caves. Since I don't care about aging, I figured it would be fun to finish it off.
So me and my five blessed drakish scurgari or returning went Lich hunting.

Started around level 21, ending level 25, victory is mine! At least Greater Undead Vault victory! And not much stat damage in the end.
Spoils: far slayer and black thumb.

useful skills:
Find Weakness: 100
Dodge: 100
Alertness: 100
Backstabbing: 100
Archery: 100

Other things of interest:
Stilts corruption, Boom/scurguri skill: 13, and range talents.


In the end, it's very, very grindy to finish, but I did it.
Won't do it again!

how much aging did you incur?

i've done a GUV with the following:

1) weaponsmith with cow axe when he was already level 50
2) wizard with 80 will power and fireball
3) lvl 50 archer with sun's messenger

impressive to do at only lvl 21

but seriously, GUV are easier without the über-jackel effect.
And having my archery / find weakness / blessed returning weaponry meant I could snipe many of the liches fairly effectively.


Eta: Derp, I mean High Elven. so I can't totally ignore aging after all.
