I'm not sure if people would like it, but I'm a fan of Quake, so I would welcome fantasy-style Quake monsters, especially Shambler (huge, furry monster casting lightning bolts) and Fiend (a fast daemon with claw-like hands).

Beside this Centaurs (half-human half-horse with bow) and Fauns (could confuse you with music, would drop a flute when killed) from Greek/Roman mythology.

Speaking of summoners, I wonder if we could have an inverse summoning monster. By that I mean a creature that's fairly weak by itself, but when lots of them get together they are capable of summoning one large, nasty creature.

Another idea would be monsters which can merge creating one moster, but 2x more powerful. Slime daemons perhaps?


Yet another idea - a monster, which when "killed" splits into 2 slightly weaker (around 30&#37 monsters, these two monsters when "killed" again split in two another weaker monsters (4 in total) which can be killed finally (because they are too small/weak to split into smaller monsters again).
