Ridiculous luck

I think I have once found wand of wishing. I've never been lucky with that. I find plenty of wishes from pools tho and from ring dipping.

I had pretty nice luck with potion shop yesterday. It was located right after Animated forest, so good spot to buy several Potions of Exchange for ring dipping, since stair to Dwarven Halls was next to it. I also had Ring shop at D:1 which I cleared several times so I had stuff like 10x Ring of Fire Resistance and 10x Stun resitance for dipping. I managed to find only one wish from dipping tho, but I did get couple of Ring of Ice and Fire for ToEF and Ice Queen domain so I'm happy, also couple of those slaying rings.

UD:3 and already Justifier, that's pretty nice gym21! Congrats. I started as assassin run yesterday and found Eternium Halberd in SMC. There was total 3 vaults in UD, all undead vaults. And a ring shop with Ring of Ice and Ring of Fire at UD:2. I was clearing random dungeons before animated forest and found Surge of Power in Putrid Cave and it was Scorched Spear, did some nice job with plant slaying in animated forest. Pretty fun start again. I also got my RoDS by ring dipping, but I'm saving my wish for a bit if I can find AoLS to save Khelly by normal means.

My weapon is already good enough to finish the game, but I found an eternium 2h sword of penetration soo.... I have to use it, right? I guess it'll be good for emporor moloch I suppose.

It gets better. Wished for find weakness w/RoDS. Thunderstroke was in the Frost Giant GV. I didn't have enough scrolls of magic mapping for the maze but tried it anyway and my first corruption was the thing that magic maps for you. Emperor dropped Ring of Immunity. Seven League Boots in casino shop. Nature's Companion and Shirt of the Saints in the D:46 vault. Magical writing set gave me eight(!) scrolls of education (goodbye, mana), so have archery and alertness now as well.

Yep, one for each element! Also any elven chain gets stored, plus ego armors too!

I have the best luck with the items in Barnabas' shop at the start of the game- I've seen amulets of life saving there twice, and seven league boots there once.

I have seen those too, as well as Skullcrusher and Long Sting, although they're all exceptional cases. You're almost guaranteed to generate some points of PV or useful scrolls/rings/wands, however, which make starting with a potion of invisibility pretty nice.

And sometimes, said potion is on stock, and you have to work hard to get gold and buy it before stealing the other items
