Default are the requirements for Heir changed?

I've been playing on Steam version/Linux and Heir only seems to require Charming talent now. Is that a feature or a bug?

    Lvl 50 Dark Elf Paladin.

Miser was never a requirement for Heir, so you wasted it anyway

It looks like on August 22, the game spots you Boon to the Family. So tomorrow it will be back to needing three talents for Heir.

Oh my... I never knew this.

I noticed that my characters were starting with an unusual high amount of Gold. Well, it was nice.

Does anybody know if messing with the computer's clock affects the Steam version of the game? or does it have an uncorruptable in-game clock?
