I meant the slow crawl down all the levels. Never melee Malakai. Ever.
I have gen'd the Amulet on all three. The beastfighter found SLBs in there as well, so he will be the first to try to win.
I was on discord asking how to generate FGJC, and did it, but the frost giants were a bit too tough. I think I will do the Tomb and DF before I go back and try it.
My OCG CK tried to melee MaLaKaI. Unfortunately he has quite high chance to ignore armor and quite high chance to crit, so even with my pretty high PV i almost died in one turn. But if anyone wants to test how badass his character is in melee is welcome to try meleeing MaLaKaI.
The DE Beastfighter is dead. I tried to raid the FGJC vault. The Ancient Red Dragon standing on the Crown of Leadership double critted me while blinded. I should have used my healing items more aggressively.
He was by far the worst one though, so hopefully the Wizard can pull through now.
So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!

Ok, update on the Wizard.
Teleport control installed. Tomb completed. Darkforge mostly cleared, and BDSM acquired. BM was robbed for the amulet. Khelly saved.
I got the water orb and the corpse is sitting at Waldy's.
I think it is time to do the tower, I have some disablers and can throw PoCC to make the fight easier. Then I guess I will dive for the casino and cat ring.
It seems that sometimes the Skeletal King is outside of his little island. IS this a new feature in 1.2?
I don't know if its new or not, but sometimes he will trigger the door trap and it will destroy the door allowing him to move freely. Most of the time however he stays put, since most door traps generated do not destroy the door on activation, and which trap is generated is random, as far as I know.

I ended up playing a lot today, so here is what transpired.
I completed the tower and dove to Casino to get cat ring and see what came up in the shoppe. Brannalbin's, Executor, RoDS, and ?oD were the highlights.
Since ~3.5m gold is a lot of corruption, I asked the discord chat what to do. A Kobold told me to use the RoDS to kill the shopkeep when he and I were surrounded by doors. It worked like a charm and SLBs were acquired from the wish.
Now that I could walk in wilderness without wasting massive amounts of time and had invis, I took the DF shortcut back and headed to IQD to unlock FGJC. Vault was undead, so I just killed Haggar and got my PoCCs. ON the floor of FGJC was another RoDS, which I do not know what to use it on- probably spellbooks of Acid Ball.
I plan on diving to D:48 and doing at least the Air and Earth Temples, then reassessing.
Possible things to do before turning evil-
Get Sceptre while still getting the L+ corruption discount- seems dangerous, might want to delay as long as possible
Maze- I do not know if this is worth the hassle, even as a wizard
Unicorn Quest (I do not know which one)- evil has a sweet reward, but good will definitely let me eat every orb guardian and still have SoCR.
Library- !oTraining trained climbing, so maybe this can get to 100 eventually.
BDC quest- cannot be that hard, eh?
The rods trick is a new one for me heh. Not even sure if it should be fixed, since it sounds so lolworthy.
e: maze is definitely a headache, I think I've done it only thrice or 4 times in my entire career. I don't even have access to bugtemple on my steam adom so that makes things even more horrible. I dunno, I'll probably only ever do it again if I'm playing a monk and happen to run into a wand of wishing to get magical writing sets and write a ton of ?oMM.
