Rat paladin, easypeasy, 9 starting pv.
Ran through all of UD, found no spectactular items, well helmet +3pv and d8+3 blessed sword.
At ud 8 I get face to face with an almost dead rustmonster who still manage to rust my helm and starting +4 gloves to dust.
Was at 11-12 pv at rusty and a weapon barely better than starter weapon.

Of course I get a surprise stone giant lord in HMW who kill me.

To see my inventory had 2 wands of magic missile and a wand of lightning (which would have helped vs rustboy but not mr stone giant) and an amulet of life saving.
4 nice spellbooks and the amulet, rare that ud yeilds so little.

Yep! Nothing better than the assassin rock in HMV! Main reason I duck and cower through that place.
