Default Felix, the Grey Elf Archer, gate closer

My third ADOM victory so far (character generated as fate decides), the first being a Drakeling Paladin and the second a Gnome Beastfighter.

I started by doing the village dungeon quest to get the healing skill and hatchet and also found a pretty nice knife of might at the same time which helped with his quite low starting strength.

After this I did the puppy quest for the acid resistance, the guaranteed lesser vault and to get my aligned boosted up to lawful.

At some point the knife of might broke but by then I had a better weapon in form of the adamantium dagger of mayhem to switch to.

Crowning gift was Sun's Messanger and shock immunity.

The adamantium rapier of penetration which was my melee weapon of choice for most of the game I found in Darkforge (everything else was pretty much junk though).

FGJC had a greater giant vault which contained the robes of resistance.

Boots of the divine messenger was a drop from the minotaur emperor. I bought some books of magic map from a book shop on D4 as well as some other useful spells like magic missile and lightning bolt for instance.

Serpent's Bite was from a power surge in CoC and the silver key was just a random drop on the air temple level IIRC.

On D34 I ran into an open threat room full of ki-rin but luckily they didn't notice me so I was able to use a wand of door creation and a wand of digging to avoid them entirely.

Apart from being the first victory where I finished the minotaur maze this is also the first one where I haven't had access to a single wish. I did find a lot of potions of gain attribute though and I ate all of the orb guardians for their stat increases because I didn't figure I could get them to the druid in time.

On D50 all the balors including Fistanarius fell quite easily to some demon slaying arrows (I bought a stack of 18 of them from the casino gift shop) and before leaving I did the unicorn quest to get rid of all my corruptions.

    Thanks.

This is the first time I've run into ki-rin but from what I've heard they are quite nasty and also they are lawful so I expect I would have taken quite a hit to my alignment if I had killed any of them.
