    I stepped up...saw the greater moloch. But when I 'L'ooked at him...I swear he didn't see me. He was not hostile. Shadow was being....sneaky sneaky. One step....two steps *DEAD* Not sneaky sneaky enough.

    Damn it, I really was hoping it was just a cruel joke by you, Kato. I didn't think anyone would be dumb enough to try and sneak directly past a greater moloch, especially in a corridor like that. Thank you for opening my eyes to new stupidity :P In future you may wish to consider luring such a creature into an open space and running around it then - with SLBs you could move 4 times as fast as him, so there was no reason to ever be standing on a square next to him (much less traversing 3 squares next to him and hoping that somehow he doesn't notice you and pound you into mush). Also, you had a wand of teleport...

    Anyway, mission 3 is coming up once the other teams have finished (in particular we're still waiting for all of Silfir's rabble). The play order is required to be as follows:

    DE Archer - meh
    DE Ranger - nlgraham
    Troll Assassin - Grey

    All 3 are in pretty strong positions. The Ranger in particular should find the pyramid and graveyard a breeze with Purifier (though it should be blessed). Remember that after the pyramid is as good a time as any to get crowned. Also, you can revisit any earlier game locations in this round - pyramid and graveyard are the only new locations allowed.

    It seems that most of the characters that have died this round did it because they chose to adventure into the dwarven halls.

    Looking at the other teams, JellySlayer's lead is quite big. Even if we end up winning with all three characters, it might not be enough to beat them.

    The barbarian's glade will also be available now, so I recommend getting the courage skill if it's not too inconvenient. IIRC, the first kill for the troll was a hobgoblin and it should also be in the monster memory.

    I don't think we have much chance of beating the server team - playing online with advice from IRC gives them a huge advantage. We can still try our best though.

    Courage would be especially useful for the ranger and assassin, so it should indeed be attained. Hobgoblin is a nice first kill - they can be found in the wilderness easily. Dunno what the others had though - something SMCy most likely.

    A lame excuse for non-server teams, which don't use the server because they don't want to show their pathetic gameplay in public.

    The archer's first kill, IIRC, was a kobold. Should be easy enough.

    I may not be around much the next couple of days. Just waiting on Subconcious to finish his last char for Silfir's team, then we're free to go. I hope folks are clear on objectives:

    -May revisit UD, PC, VD/DD, etc,
    -Try to get a crowning after pyramid
    -Do dwarven graveyard with ease - remember wand of fireballs.
    -Scum a few more herbs if needed.
    -Save after getting Thrundarr to open portal.
    -Get Courage along the lines if possible.

    Not too hard overall. Try and have yourselves a bit of fun in the meantime. I think the wheat has beeen separated from the chaff by now, and I can trust you both not to be complete idiots....
