I'd agree that fighter is a bit bland, but you could say that for a lot of classes.
Fighter is the blandest of the bland. Their class skills are useless aside from the +25% PV bonus. IMHO it should be a flat +25 or 50% (or even 100% at lvl50) would give them a real identity in terms of people playing them
    Wins:
Gnome Assassin / Dwarven Paladin (ULE) / Ratling Duelist (UNE) / High Elf Archer / Gnomish Wizard x ~5 / Gray Elven Wizard (UCG) - Archmage / Gnomish Weaponsmith / Grey Elf Elementalist / Dwarven Priest / Trollish Barbarian / Drakling Farmer / Mist Elf Wizard / Human Beastfighter / Ratling Archer (UNE) / Gnomish Mindcrafter

    Classes Left
    Many!

Fighter(Ranger) is the blandest of the bland. Their class skills are useless aside from the +25% PV(750 base movespeed) bonus.
Fighters at least also have always useful (if minor) +5 DV from dodge and +10% crit chance. And bash attack is nice for killing bosses.

Honestly, i give up on that discussion.
Rangers have shitty class powers, they are very average at TWC, despite that they are supposed to be good at.
Yet people claim it's Fighters who are bland and have no identity. Who are supposed to be guys with proficiency for combat - and they do have that proficiency.
    Logic, where was it lost?
