Rolf quest semi-help needed (possible spoiler inside)

After 2 won games, RNG finally blessed me with a random map fragment, and I could start the quest.

It ended rather quick with my demise, but I must say Katharamandus is the best boss in the game. Won't spoil anything, but its difficult and fun to fight.
On other hand, the behavior of stone statues in Rolf's fortress is really strange and uncalled for

I think one of the great things about all the new content is that different games can start to tell very different stories. Just like life... you may start off thinking you're going to meet the ancient king of dwarves, but things don't go your way. So maybe you meet the Ice Queen instead, or manage to please the Cat Lord, or find the Scepter of Chaos, or defeat the Minotaur Lord. It's getting unrealistic to expect that one character can do all the major quests.

Of course, it is difficult to playtest the Rolf Quest and the Chaos Plane under these conditions.
