    Default Shopkeepers and more in R78

    I've been exploring R78 changes and had a few vague questions.

    So was the shopkeeper change on purpose?
    It makes some stuff more difficult and hmw more dangerous for sure, at times his help was invaluable.
    Maybe the catlord put a stop to previous shopkeeper behaviour when the herding to dwarftown got legendary?

    I liked the previous mechanics.

    Maybe luck maybe random, but this far my 3 characters getting to HMW have had same race shopkeeper (same as my own character that is) spawn there.
    If thats a change (will run through some more) I give it a solid thumbs up.

    Trap maker
    kobold? if I recall correct
    Interesting, already made life miserable for one or two characters.
    Detect traps became more useful.

    Modifiers on eq
    Far too small sample, but it felt as if I got several out of range modifiers (compared to previous versions).
    Stuff like 7 PV chainmail, d6+9 adamantium short sword, probably just regular adom randomness.

    Adding errors/glitches I find in this post.

    Monster detection slightly broken
    Uncursed wand used.
    Monsters are displayed on small ascii-minimap but not in graphic display part of map.
    If you swap with F10 to ascii mode and back they disappear from ascii-minimap.
    (Number of monsters on level are shown as before.)


    Wall of flames not showing in graphics mode like it used to
    Text still says you can't pass and that is still a fact, (but that was pretty graphics now missing oh well).

    Minor drop several of same item bug
    If you want to select several items to drop you need first to make one selection, then the capital letters are an option.

    Missile targeting minor
    Numpad 2,4,6 and 8 (on pc win7) moves pointer two squares at a time when trying to adjust target this makes some opponents impossible to target.
    Arrow keys and 1,3,7 and 9 works as intended (ie one square at a time).


    Thieves didn't go to school
    So I guess this is excusable, but still a typo.

    As mentioned F10 x2 and it also disappears from the bottom right view.

    Nice, this looks a lot better than before.

    Side note, I'm drowning in regular ammo (arrows/bolts), not used having to drop stacks.

    Nothing was changed here. It's probably just the RNG.
