I think you can inscribe items but I don't remember in which rougelike it is. That reminds me of something I'd really like in ADoM, being able to enscribe things into the ground.

That's Nethack. I wasted some Fifteen daggers with an illiterate character trying to get an Elbereth engraved in the floor.

Stupid noobish question of the day. How do you make something rustproof?

You bless a potion of oil removal and then dip the metal item in it, higher metals are already waterproof.

    Err Doalag.

You bless a potion of oil removal

Are you sure it goes like that? And not:
    Potion of Oil
    and
    Oil of Rust Removal?

    P.S. Those are quite tasty.

Jonas, you're not helping by saying that Yrrigs will drop a potion after you bless it. Or at least by saying it in such a confusing way.

Bah; I was a Newbie teacher before, in a certain world. Lines like this would always end up being unproductive.

Any Newbie reading this... Do your best to tangle your way out of this minor confusion?

    Default Hmph.

This unwieldy language which you call English, is not my native language either. You get used to some things whether you like them or not.

Ok ok, i know you are right, but please I already know the next language lessons and won't apply them so if you can save me from them, that would help us both!
