Also, I think the 'thorns growing from your hands'
corruption causes damage.

I guess that killing yourself with a wand of lightning produces something else than the bouncing bolt thing.
EDIT: Nevermind. It seems to be in the list.

Dying to a rusty wand of lightning most likely generates a special message.
