don't we have darkness ? I know we have light (usefull ????) but for darkness, ... it's out of my mind.
and with 6 rocks, I guess it will be difficult to kill... approximatively 10 rust monster. and there is a rust monster more red than the other (I've seen it when I fight them on the top est of the map).
maybe tame them with harp, or feed them with metal...
if we scare/tame/feed enouth of them, maybe we can do something...

Sadly, m_bowwarrior, he is. Rather black humour, given our situation, though I did crack a smile, loving black humour
We do not have the Darkness spell - Believe me, I've checked! I certainly would have used it if we had had it.
Off the top of my head, I think all the metal we could have fed rust monsters with has been rusted away by yours truly. Even if we could scrape together enough to tame one rust monster, and name it Chuck Norris, it would not be strong enough to kill 9+x rust monsters and 1 large rust monster.
EDIT: I have an idea - if we really all die to this situation, make it the objective of the "Weakest Link Special Challenge" for all the players that already lost, so they have something to do (and tear their hair out over) while anxiously following our progress. They could try, and try, and try, and at some point someone will report "I FUCKING DID IT" and we'll all stand in awe, like when that one guy did the Eternium Man.

Well... Not any metal the rust monsters will eat. Sorry.
Besides, I don't think rust monsters can be TAMED with metal. They can pe pacified, yes, but tamed?

a proposition : put a rock (the best one) on the hand and use it as a melee weapon. it could be tried.

actually rocks are pretty useful when used in mellee, mostly with higher skill in them. Give it a try!

All right, the RNG doesn't like us.
We now have no weapons and no shield, and even rocks are precious. How can we be on I15 and still fretting about rocks?

It would be pretty hilarious if I accidentally wielded a cursed rock and can't remove it.
