Thread: SSH-accessible public ADOM server online (experimental)

Would anyone be interested in doing some type of scheduled ADOM tutoring session on Jaakos' server?

I for one would definitely attend such sessions.

Maybe a VOIP conference call online (is that even possible?) for people to listen to in real time or use of a chat room (this might be difficult for me since I only have a 800x480 screen).

I once saw a guy playing Nethack that talked with everyone over at #nethack by 'chatting' in the game so we could read what he was doing and thinking.

    Would something like that work?

We do that all the time. It's just that we use irc in combination
    with the server.

We *NEED* to sticky a link to the server/irc connection info!

#adom on IRCNet has regular ADOM discussion. Of course sometimes it's a little quiet too - timing is everything.

Never quiet when I'm on GMT -5 around 4 am.
Then again, maybe it's not quiet because I'm there,
    irritating everybody. Sometimes there's another
2,900 post wind bag that tends to chatter too much
    as well.

I think you are talking about #adom on freenode.

#adom on IRCNet is full of stupid asses that haven't a) played ADOM for years b) randomly found #adom and fit in the group because is probably 4chan-troll c) actually HATE ADOM and just flame it.

Nobody talks about ADOM there and if someone does he's flamed and trolled.

Yes, sorry, mistyped - I mant Freenode. There is sometimes actual ADOM discussion on IRCNet, but it's rare, and generally treated with hostility unless you're a regular ('cause cliques are fun, apparently).
