Is this server forever dead now?

00:58 * Topic #adom: http://adom.de/ UNOFFICIAL channel | servers at ancardia.ath.cx (Finland/jaakkos) and ancardius.ath.cx (USA/FFLaguna); please see http://ancardia.ath.cx/ for instructions | jaakkos' server/patch to-do list at http://pastebin.com/hswEUnNc please modify | AncardiUS will shut down on January 3rd forever (owner is moving to Korea), unless somebody with a stable connection wishes to take over

    Thanks for the reply gut.

I spent off and on a year to have the perfect setup to play this on my tablet.

Any chance I could get all the files needed and make a private server, just for myself here at home, on a Windows XP machine?

my understanding is that there does exist a snapshot of ancardius. You
would have to log on to irc and ask jaakkos or fflaguna

Unfortunately, it seems jaakkos has vanished from the Internet, according some posts in the stat roller thread.

I have an old computer (or maybe I could seank it onto one of the fancy servers at work, wonder if anyone would notice...) I could set up as a server for ADOM if someone has the files.

I would love to get this back online. I have a headless Ubuntu 11.10 box sitting at my house that is public facing that runs a Minecraft server... it could probably handle this as well. It would be great to be able to play ADOM from my Android phone again! (using DosBox is great on Android, but has it's own drawbacks).

everyone who wants this should log in to irc.freenode.net #adom as soon as possible
to get the link. The ancardia virtualbox snapshot is being hosted for everybody to
download at will, but for how long, I don't know.

Never mind, I'm dumb. I didn't know what IRC was offhand.
