Did you add a new feature on your server or is this just the first time I noticed it?

The options let you play on older versions or special challenges. I think one of them is eternium man (you must immediately enter SMC and remain there until level 50) and the other is the uber-death-ray challenge where every monster is capable of casting death ray.

Question: Is there some sort of defense against downloading backups set up? I was at the water dragon cave with an ultra-material monk... Decided I wanted to run a few tests with Shyssiryxius's breath attack, so I saved and then went to my folder to download the backup. I tested locally, then went back to playing the server game, only to find the character had ceased to exist.

If that's intentional, good, but it would be nice to know. True, I still have the savefile, but I really only play on the server any more. Ah well.

This isn't a gag. Something is very broken.

Really what I meant is that everything seemed to go
wrong for me around 04-01, but it is possible that
some nut with too much time on their hands tried to
frig the server. Actually, I don't know anything about
servers, but I want sooo hard to blame 04-01...
