    Default Teleportation in the Dwarftown

Has anyone experienced difficulty teleporting in dwarftown?

I've got dwarftown on D11, I've equipped an uncursed helm of teleportation and a ring of teleport control but for some reason I just never jump. I teleport fairly reguarly in other rooms, just not dwarftown. Obviously I'm trying to get in to see the dwaven mystic, but it just aint happening.

    Any clues?

Teleport spell surely works, I have used it many times to get to the mystic and to get quickly to one of the opposite staircases. How long have you been waiting?
You hit Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, and severely wound him.
The greater balor summons some help!
The ratling duelist disarms you. You drop your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12]. It flies to the west.
Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, picks up the blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12].
Andor Drakon, the ElDeR cHaOs GoD, wields the blessed Trident of the Red Rooster (+36, 6d12+18) [+12, +12].

I've got a scroll of teleportation but since it's generated on D11 I wouldn't be able to get back out! If I could find another means of teleportation then I'm sure that'd work.

I'm just puzzled why the helm isn't working. I've hung around easily long enough that I should have been teleported dozens of times.

Would it help if it were blessed?

Don't know what's wrong with the helm, but creating a teleportation trap can get you in, and then you get out with the scroll.

Thats a damn good point Ars. Cheers!

EDIT: He's not there! The room is completely empty - this is a new one on me!

You did the greater daemon quest before visiting the mystic.

    Bad idea.

I try to give instructions, so if you want to see some place you haven't been before and get some hints on how to deal with it, this might help! There's also some other games featured there that you might find interesting.

Its not a condition as such, but sometimes the daemon gets hungry....

Are you saying that the daemon teleported into the 2x2 room, killed the mystic and then came back out?

Is this a common occurance or is it incredibly bad luck?

It's quite possible that it could happen. But I don't think it's something that happens too often
