You can exploit the game without ring of weakness too. GoGS is easy, which counts for a lot at least in my books.

And I wouldn't wish for 7lb in your situation even if I didn't have those - beastfighters get movement discount anyway, and boots of the divine messenger are quite good.

Is Khelly dead yet? If you have wishes to spare, I'd try and save him.

Your skillset is already ridiculously good, so that leaves education out of the question. And yeah, I'd stick to book casting. If you have the right ammo, the wish that would make you most powerful would be emperor moloch. Just make sure you're well-prepared first.

Thats just not true... My beastfighter UNE didn't wish for Concentration until pretty late on the game - level 40 ish maybe, and before then, had plenty of spells memorised - no need to book cast teleport, he had 800 or so castings at one point, plenty of light and darkness, slow monster for self, I had fire bolt for cooking corpses... I was pleasantly surprised by the guys ability...even learnt Remove Curse, although not sure ever bothered to cast it. I did Oracle my way to a reasonable Le score, but still.

AKW? Yes, I think I am.

Could be that at level 40 with very decent Learning it might well be another story. My experiences with beastfighters are limited to getting 24 casting points after reading a spellbook of Light with character level of 20. Admittedly, that's more castings of Light you'll ever need in a regular game.

Welll look at the character under discussion - with 15 Le at level 21 he has a decent number of castings of Identify and Teleport. With Concentration and a bit of learning from the Oracle I think he'll be fine.

I just came back from the Tower. I'm sort of disapointed how easy it was. The only point where I thought things weren't going so fine was when I got the poison hand corruption. Oh yeah, you think I'm going to take off my elemental gauntlets? No way! Just read one SoCR and everything was well again. Before the Tower I did pretty much as Grey suggested, wished for GoGS, which I left behind just in case of RoI/fp blanket failure, which never occured, and Concentration. I visited the HMV and ate the Oracle, and one more pixie too, which gave me teleportitis. Then I returned to Dwarftown where I had stored my spell books and did some reading. I think that I got more castings for some spells than many low level wizards get from their first spell books.

You didn't equip the Fire Orb? Anyway, I now
predict victory for this PC... as long as you
remember to re-equip the AMW before your
encounters with the Cat Lord and the Archmage,
and remember to use potions of blindness.
