Be warned if you have certain intrinsics which may not make this work. You could also try fighting them in a very dark place, where you couldn't see them. Or drink aif you're desperate.

This game is amazing.
Also, we need a monster with an acoustic attack that is really strong and makes players really want to use deafness (apart from the Banshee which is kind of an one-trick pony, and it's an easy decision - do it or you die directly).

Harpy Lair would be interesting. Maybe the longer you spend in it, the harder it is to stay awake. "You blink and find that some time has passed!" That'd be fun.
