As you know, 1.2p9 added boss monsters!
Feel free to add your encounters with these guys, don't forget to use spoiler tags.
Gregor the Mighty, the goblin berserker
Messages on seeing: The goblin berserker's body glows in a brilliant blue hue from head to toe
Power(s): Cold spell (a-la chaos archmage)
I like my women like my ADOM loot - hunted as treasure and in extra quantity.
"You meet Nuin, the doppleganger. This was a warrior from a long forgotten epoch that was trying to please others too much. He was cursed and turned into the doppleganger that takes the form of passing travellers and preys on them."
"The" is a grammatical error, right?
No idea about special powers, I didn't notice anything special.
I got an "You sense an imminent and blood-chilling threat..." message as I was descending SMC to UD. Must be the new message for boss monsters? Tempted to go back and check if it is still there, but I like my body intact!
Edit: I went back and died to an orcish tension room in the SMC that had no door. I've seen a few of these now in the pre-releases - bug or intentional?

You meet Huckree, the goblin.
You see a rather excited goblin hauling a giant backpack stuffed to the brim with gold and treasure. The goblin is cackling wildly while looking at his loot. What vile deeds did he have to commit to acquire this hoard.
He's a purple g.
Didn't have any special attacks that I noticed.
He dropped about 10 items and 2700 gold (D:8).
[edit]
Another:
You meet Soladnit, the hell hound.
Seeming to emerge from the cracks of the walls and floor, it is apparent that this is no ordinary hell found. Soladnit is not hindered by brick or stone, and you have a strange feeling that this entity has been seeking you out for your entire life.
Purple d.
He could pass through walls. That's all I saw him do.
Bosses don't seem to have particularly exceptional amounts of HP or stats more than normal, and give approximately regular xps. I think go about 200 xps for the second boss. Don't remember what the first one was, but probably quite a bit less.

Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

First one is Treasure Goblin from Diablo?
Second one is definitely a Hound Of Tindalos
The Grayman, the gray slayer
This servant of balance is the oldest and most elite of his order. He is smaller and somehow more boring and unremarkable than a normal gray stalker. You might even feel safe in his presence if you didn't know that he had slain thousands and thousands of the most powerful enemies of balance. Nothing gets between him and his target as he learned long ago to become ethereal at will. His favorite way to dispatch his foes is to stab them through a wall without them ever noticing his presence
Didn't notice anything special, walk through wall based on message I'd guess
Frog Prince the giant frog
What an ugly water-splasher. Its face looks flattened. It's as if the frog had been thrown a little too hard against a wall. Although with a frog that massive, it's hard to imagine anything other than a titan ot moloch doing the throwing.
Can summon help.
Left a nice pile of treasure.
Kor Pubis, the female fire giant
This fire giant seems to be shunned by its own kin. Having lost her only friend, her mind is dazed with blacksmithing obsession. Now that you've intruded in her domain, she comes forward, swinging her trusty hammer and anvil.
Dropped huge iron hammer and anvil.
As a fellow smith I felt sympathy.
Also after closing the gate got 4th message on the way up, but didn't find the monster. I had unholy aura, might be responsible.
Is meeting or killing bosses in any way reflected in the final messages? If not, it would be awesome to have it: "(S)He managed to defeat the following boss monsters: ...".
