    (1) I'm almost certain I did on my platinum girdle game, so I really doubt it's chaotic. (2) definitely seems like it might be (I don't think I've ever drunk one though? Neither effect that it can have seems very useful).

Kicking bee hives is definitely lawful.

Tested, and this can in fact prevent you from getting the girdle.

    Code:
You feel as if transgressing some law. You feel balanced.

I'm glad I didn't test this on one of my True Strength-wearing characters

Ok, I've got another one that would probably be harder to test. Is S-W's blue dragon cave quest a neutral quest or not? i.e. will completing it bring my alignment towards N

Fairly certain it's a lawful quest, you are killing chaotic monsters.

Whelp, I guess I can answer that question now since I just did the quest, went to D50 and still got the girdle. Lawful.

Is it me, or is the lawfulness of particular actions and quest depends from the actual alignment of the PC?

ADOM treats neutral quests in peculiar way... Instead of non-affecting allignment (as one can intuitively expect them to do), they draw alignment towards N=, so if you are above there is a drop of alignment. A drop counts as a chaotic action... (vice versa if you are bellow N=).
So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!
    (after 15 I stopped counting...)
