The banshee equips the good chain mail. The banshee equips the good tower
shield. The banshee equips the good tower shield. The banshee seems to scream!
The banshee misses you. The banshee misses you.

She wielded two shields and then attacked me in melee.
I'm jealous.

Ha! Pretty sure I have taken a pretty reasonable pounding from a doppelganger king whilst dual wielding shields... and yeah, if someone hit me over the head with an iron tower shield, I suspect it would hurt.

I didnt hint that the famous Sheep smited me with a shield, but that she somehow made a normal melee attack WHILE holding shields in both her hands. And I thought that an average PC was superior in some freaky way, being able to wield a sharp weapon, a tower shield, an oversized longbow, and a happily burning torch, all at once...

All hail the banshee!

All hail the banshee!

Except for the banshee herself.
She prefers to wail.

She somehow needs to lead the crowd.

Yeah, but can she equip a ring of regen in her missile slot?
You know what that would do to undead...

I never tried equipping a ring there, what does it do?

Strangely enough, I've never done that either. I
seem to remember reading on this forum that it
will increase one's regen rate, the same as it does
on one's finger.

Yeah, you get regen from rings in the missile slot. I think it works for the weapon slots too. I've used the former trick before on a speedrunner that was HP-casting through D50 - constant regen helped a lot.

Is this april 1st joke or a real thing?

As ridiculous as it sounds, it's actually real :)

Crown of regen, bracers of regen, three rings of regeneration, and an amulet of rapid healing. Possibly something else I forgot, too. Virtually an overkill.

Preserver instead of the amulet of rapid healing. Dual-wielding knives of endurance. Bard with double HP regeneration class power with max HP regeneration and Healing at 100.

And I could swear I'm forgetting something...

Healers are better than bards as far as I know. And throw in a bunch of potions of troll blood on a non-troll character.

Would be like trying to fight the liquid metal
robot from terminator 2.

I'm confused. Didn't you yourself once prove, very meticulously, over at the Hall of Fame forums, that it's BARDS who are a slight bit better with their class power, IF you have max natural HP regeneration?

Yes, if you take the Manual's word for things. However I believe someone then later did some testing and showed otherwise. However it may be worth looking into in further detail - doubtless both are excellent regardless, and at the same time doubtless both pall compared to having 5 rings of regen equipped along with bracers, crown and amulet.

BoW > regen, since they also provide regen; however, we're assuming Preserver too and it doesn't do well to assume *too* much RNG cooperation. :-)

+ healthy + corrupted tissue + fast healing room :)

Also, I think a blessed amulet of fast healing on this 'wolverine' character would give faster regen than preserver.
