Priestesses are more dangerous than Princesses

Dark Elven, that is.

Apparently all Dark Elven Princesses can do is stand around and hit
you like and summon spiders. Dark Elven Priestesses, on the other
hand, who I have found have much fewer HPs, DV, PV, damage,
and every other stat, can pull a ghul death on you. Paralolyzed,
and they seem to shrug every damned bolt sent at them. Ugh.

Dark elves have resistance to magic, shrug bolts, and iirc resistance to mindcraft too.

I think dark elven princesses can paralyze you as well (but I'm not positive)

I forgot priestesses could paralyze the other day. She reminded me very quickly with a swift paradeath.
