Evading breath attacks......

Has anyone ever had a PC that could evade monsters breath attacks? i've seen some npcs do this a few times but never done so myself. If so what kind of speed/dex scores are needed?(at least i'm assuming those would be the stats needed for it) Oh and i don't mean evaded as in they breath at you and nothing happens, i mean as in you get a message about having evaded the attack.

If you have the Alertness skill this can happen a lot.

Also high dexterity helps. Note that even if you'll evade such attack, you won't get special message displayed(like *foo evades bolt of fire, or something like that).

hmmn the only thing i know for sure is i've seen messages about npcs dodging such attacks. For example "The lightning lizard breathes a bolt of lightning at you! The goblin evades the bolt." then you can see it actually continuing past said monster till the end of its range.
