I dunno if others have noticed this, but since February there have been a *lot* of new accounts set up, most with spam links in their profile signatures, but without any posts in the forums. They... worry me. They're probably just there to increase google hits, but if they start making posts to the forums we'll be swamped. I decided to make a list of all of them, and ended up finding way way more than I expected:

Yeah, it's a long list :( Spambots now make up more than 20% of all registered forum members! There's probably more of them than there are regularly active posters. Somewhat scary...
I've e-mailed TB at his work address about it, so hopefully we can get some tighter controls. I'm just posting here to make everyone aware, and to ask that if you notice a spambot that's not on the list to post it in the comments. Probably doesn't hurt to click on the "able to reproduce bug" link either.
