Such a promising PC. He had survived the trials of the early game (thanks to extensive herb farming early on), and had built himself up to be a real tank. Cleared the ToEF with ease (ACW died in 3 hits...), and managed to kill the cat lord. It looked like I had a winner on my hands. Then I ran into a Doppleganger King on D:38. No problem, casted darkness and berserked him in melee. Suddenly, he decided to fight back, crits me for over 300 damage. I guess he must have gotten blocked from behind (he was in a hallway) and figured out where I was.

specialy are annoyin if you runnin mellee character. nowdays i started a farmer and was explorin deep coc while constantly paranoid about them jumpin around the corner...
