Ah yes, my first win. I've been playing forever and haven't been able to do it. Now, I haven't exploited starvation training, and herbs and Garth or anything, but still, it has been a long time!
Pretty uneventful game, though. Only one greater vault and a few lessers, all with orcs or undead or in the case of the greater vault, giants. Damned annoying, I say. Mindcrafting was hard until TKB, but Mind Wave was useful on occasion. Confusion Blast was mainly for cats, and Mental Blast was for anything I couldn't melee safely. I was lucky to find some good spears and a shield early on.
I got a few wishes, one of which was from a RoDS. Wishes were:
- Amulet of Life Saving for Khelly
- Sword of Sharpness
- SoCR
- SLB
I actually found D:50 easier than the Mana Temple. I could melee almost anything on D:50 except balors and Fisty, those of which I took out with GTB with a monster between me and them. Basically immune with 150 DV. Yay for spears and shields.
