I managed to pull this off finally. Less than 50k turns wasn't achieved but this is a good baseline for my future chars to undercut :D
Objectives that I have set to myself have been illiterate, fighter-type, lithiumman with less than 50k turns.
My former tries have been mostly with orc barbarian, one good run with a hurtling barb ended in mana-temple and now first try with a dwarf bears a fruit. Dwarfs are now when I think it most beneficial race to try this: good shop prices from DT, longer lifespan but still tough, dwarven barbs even start with 8 potions booze which are valuable in a game where spellcasting is mainly via wands.
The gory story for those who are not afraid of grammar errors:
In the early game I gathered supplies for the tower + herb to buff up fast. Used sickness to get Wi and To ~30. I milked orcs and gnolls in hopes of decent melee-weapon but no luck. Poisoned orcish spear was my best discovery and that forced me to use much more turns in early game than I had planned. I sold stuff to Waldenbrook and to a random (miscellanous stuff) shopkeeper on D:6 to get gold for a precrowning . DH2 had a balor which I slayed with great effort to get from Lvl15 to 17. Lvl17 allowed precrowning which was hammer of gods.
I entered tower after 30k turns with ring of ice, fp blanket and ring of fire resistance. I had eaten a fire beetle but of course took damage about 10hp every second turn until I blessed the wooden ring. I even had a ring of regeneration from a chaos eye summoned by the balor but wasn?t able to use it. Used spense to keep up my hp. Digged to the temple with a pickaxe and lured some demons and ACW to the corridor. Two zaps with wand of paralyzation, five zaps with wand of cold, two magic missiles and the demons died between us. Then shot one arrow of slaying, took the orb and leaved. The teaching of the story is that wand of paralyzation spares you from the big fuss what the tower normally is:)
In DT put my darc orc companion to do the dirty job. Handled the lever and descended. Rolf?s axe would have been an improvement to my weak melee performance but had no means of teleportation in this point. Let Khelly die. Left graveyard untouched. Retrieved water orb. Had a growing worry about eternal guardian after acid trap had my amulet of control teleportation and neither had I wand or scrolls of teleportation. Drank from a pool two levels before EG, got deathray resistance and teleport control. Bought two scrolls of teleportation from scroll shop on the level before EG :D
Gambled for a while to relieve casino shop from some stuff. None of artifacts in the shop but found a mace of destruction to aid my still bad melee capabilities. Entered cat lord level with no cats on my account but hadn?t the guts to try and throw potion of visibility at cat lord and so I left the level without well earned cat ring :(
Retrieved air orb. Passed red dragon vault. Retrieved earth orb. Passed golem vault. Cleaned a minor giant vault and left a greater one untouched (soaker and black tome, bleh :P)
Entered UD and finally found an altar. Got crowned with vanquisher and thunderimmunity. Entered manatemple. Used over 2k turned to clean servants before Nuurag decided to show up. Executed him with blessed poisoned humanoid ammo (thanks for the tip gut). Had the orb and found a long begrudged wand of teleportation.
Dropped the orbs, had Skullcrusher for uselessnessss.
In a sort of jubilee entered D:50 after about 47k turns. The D:50 had the normal entering message+ you feel threatened. I moved three paces towards west and a greater earth elemental appeared through the wall. Moved a turn to take some distance for a shot and a dozen more appeared. Drink a potion of invis and still these damn bastards came at me. Started bouncing from one end to another with my wand of teleportation and used up my wandrecharging supplies in the process. When I ran out of spense and had only one arrow of construct slaying left (from my pack of five!) I decided to take some distance from the game for a while. That saved my ass because I realized bouncing around had been lousy strategy and would had lead to untimely death very soon. Instead I digged in the upper east corner and zapped wand of monster creation so that I could kill the gEEs one at a time. Then cleaned the side chambers and destroyed the levers.
Trip home from the bottom took about 1500 turns with attuned to astral planes.
