I've made a new roguelike game for the 7drl challenge. I've actually done work on it after the seven days and can thus present you with version 1.1. The windows link:

Those on OSX or Linux will have to download the T-Engine and put my module folder into the \game\modules\ directory. You can get the engine and the module folder on the following links:

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world, following an alcoholic with a murky past as he tries to ascend to the surface. The game has a grim and dark theme, with story elements revealed through game progression, and through hallucinations or dreams induced by alcoholic abuse or withdrawal. Alcohol is a core element of the game - living without it is difficult, as it highly replenishes stamina which is used up in melee (fighting on very low stamina will make you miss most of the time). There are also withdrawal effects if you go without for a long time. On the other hand abusing alcohol too much can be bad for you, and can even send you into a immobile state.

The game was made using the T-Engine, which is designed for the roguelike ToME4 (which I contribute to somewhat, mostly on the story side).

As usual, can't seem to be able to open T-Engine with "this version of Mac os (10.5.8)...

I tried it out. Seemed pretty cool until I got to an area labeled "The Caves" where a bunch of little 'p'unk bastards jacked my booze and other inventory but it wouldn't allow me to murder the little fucks to get it back.

There are several ways of dealing with them. Two of them involve your gun, the other involves drink...

Yeah, I made the Trapper game as well, and a couple of others. Broken Bottle is short - only about 10 levels. The scope is deliberately kept short.

Really cool game Grey!

only suggestion I can really think of is it would be cool if you could use the run option with the keypad

Definently going to check out some of your other creations :)

Thanks! I think you can press shift+direction to run, but I'm not sure. I tend to use the mouse a lot myself.

ya I noticed the mouse features pretty sweet. ya the shift direction is what I have been doing but I usually use the numeric keypad to navigate and you cant use shift+(any number)

but either way sweet game :)
