Who are going to be the Champions of Europe this year? The dreaded Scum of Man Utd? Or arguably the best footballing team (bar Arsenal) Barcelona?

Arsenal is a good football team?

Oh, and I couldn't care less. Though if you're pressing me I have to say Barcelona. I enjoyed the spanking they gave the Bayern too much.

Arsenal = A great football team. They're just ermm.....having a few seasons off to let the others feel good right now.

Shame about Bayern though. Expected a much better display from them.

Oh well, up the Barca!

Shame on you for saying such a thing! Your infantile sport has no comparison to the beautiful game... (which incidentally has no comparison to Formula 1 racing - I'm looking for to the Spanish Grand Prix this afternoon!)

All you silly people, calling Soccer "Football".

Everyone knows Football = AFL.

Everyone knows Americans are dumb ;) Football is the most-played sport in the world and you guys don't even know what to call it.

Conundrum

HuhWHAT. I'm not American. Go die please.

American Football - A game played with your hands..........go figure.

AFL = AUSTRALIAN Football League. It has nothing to do with Americans. :)

From what I hear, it might be a human, but not necessarily humane...

I did manage to watch some soccer once. Well, it
was only a few minutes before I felt like gouging
my eyes out, but still, I felt enriched. Somehow.

I thought the NE was going to see all 3 clubs go down, but looks like it will just be 'boro *fingers crossed*.

I'm glad that the best two teams are in the final, where I'm hoping for a Barcelona win.

As a Southampton fan, I'm sort of coming to the conclusion that football sucks.

PeanutGod

Man U as the best team? Jog on son... they're scum of the earth :D

Although, as an Arsenal fan, I'm inclined to agree until Arsene starts buying decent players. It does suck right now

And there we go. The team with the least number of arrogant pricks who believe they are gods gift to the game called Ronaldo won. Justice served.

Grey

Indeed. Screw Man U, viva la Barcelona :)

And in other news, Bayern Munich just bought Mario Gomez from my beloved VfB for 30 million shmuckers. I do hope they get the EURO 2008 Gomez, not the 24-goals-in-one-season Gomez...

Xavi and Iniesta were too good for ManU. They are gods.

vogonpoet

They were certainly very good, but the bigger issue seemed to be that Man U were basically crap. Which was weird, cos clearly Man U are not normally crap, just annoying. Where was the desire? Can't be bothered to win the Champions League this year?

No, you're wrong, that's what most people use as excuse. Is not that the other teams are crap or play bad that day, it's just that Barcelona won't let them play. That's why Xavi and Iniesta are the best players in the world, better than Messi and much better than that ManU crying girl.
