Jorrrrc started ofcourse nicely with elven chain mail and bow + arrows. Saved Yrrigs and the puppy. Used orcish spear + shield for a very long time. Did all Dwarven quests and also Graveyard, but went into Pyramid first on the way. Rehetep died in two shots, before he could welcome me, but some of his companions were a bit nastier. Anyway, continued to Graveyard with Mummy Wrapping and Ankh. Found out I had no means of digging so left the Sword of Nonnak there.
Went back to Dwarftown, pacified big room and farmed a stash of morgia/mareillon (only thing there) and got crowned neutral with Divine Messenger + fire immune. Not great but I didn't have boots yet anyway. Wanted to get RotHK next but cleared DF first and after that found out I had no climbing set. Found one in Gremlin cave, left the gremlin + phial behind and went to the tomb. After having some difficulties in finding the stairs (in the cavernous regions arrows get spread over the whole map and you can run out of them) I finally managed to get to the lake, but no means of bridging it!!! Now comes the boring part...
Went a level up again, killing monsters for exp with rocks/slings to find wand of cold or Ogre Magus. There was an altar that I converted to neutral and sacced quite some creatures on. But no wands of cold. Did lead a baby white Dragon to the lake, but his cold breath seemed to be not enough to freeze the water.
Got tired and went back to dwarftown, checking the shops. Went to DF and started pool sipping. Emptied all pools while going back ~3 times to remove dooming/cursing but didn't get a wish. Went to Terinyo and Lawenilohtehl to check shops but no wands of cold. So I decided to go to the high mountain village by using some potions of invisibility to pass the danger cave (was level 15 or so). Everything went quite smoothly, finding a few loose herbs on the way too. But no wands of cold in village.
Decided to build a wooden bridge instead. Dumped almost all of my inventory at the barbarian glade and went cutting trees. This went smoothly and armed with about 6 logs I went to the TotHk. There I wasted all 6 logs without succeeding a single bridge part and I found out that this was because I didn't have the bridgebuilding skill, which I somehow forgot to take. Went back to the barbarian picking up my stuff (almost starved on the way), learned pickpocketing and went into the infinite dungeon, picking pockets everywhere for wand of cold. This didn't work either, but I did get so much gold that I learnt all skills available from Yergius and got lots of Holy Water.
Went back to the TotHK (still not having learnt bridgebuilding) once more to check all the loot there more closely. Found an Ice VorteX! Too bad it exploded when I went down the stairs; cast darkness on the upstairs to prevent that next time from happening. Went a level up again, sacced 5 more creeps on the altar and FINALLY there was lying a wand of cold on the altar!!!
The rest of the game was quite easy due to the enormous amounts of ammo gained during this tedious quest. Got the RotHK, went to the CoC. Created about 8 traps until I could teleport into the mystic, receiving nice SoCR and PoI: used scroll of teleportation to get out again (no wand of teleport taken). Dived down to the water temple (letting Khelavaster die on the way): only problem was a river on the way (which I hadn't had before yet) because I couldn't swim. But enough hp to survive the drowning. Then the water temple also had a river on its level, completely messing up the layout of the temple. My usual strategy of running circles around the building while shooting at the Snake wasn't possible without drowning half of the time. Luckily I just did lots of damage and shot anything in there to bits pretty easily and quickly.
Next was the ToEF. I found a ring of ice in my backpack, although only 5 Dragon slaying arrows. Got into ToEF with most of my inventory in CoC, got surge of power in level 2. Mondrak the large Rust Monster was guarding Executor! Nice! He was shot down within 8 shots or so. Went on to the ACW, meleeing everything in its way with (still) an orcish spear and without invisibility. He went into my corridor and died in 4 slaying shots.
Back to CoC. Found a few nice items in casino and gambled about 550k gold to pay them. Bought Crown of Leadership (more PV ftw!), helm of water breathing (in case of new rivers) and a whip of the snake (De + 7!). Together with RotMC (no cats killed in entire game!) and Boots my Dex went over 50. Decided to put some time into whip fighting (spear was level 12). Air temple was easy: I wonder if whips do bypass PV??? Molochs got killed easily by my nice whip. Yulgash died in four humanoid slaying shots. My whip got destroyed by the lightning but in the loot lie an ordinary ring, which happened to be a ring of djinni summoning. Wished for new whips of the snake ;) (but ONE happened to be enough indeed)
On to earth temple: normally one of the tougher temples but this time I simply whipped everything to death, using the heal orb once to keep hp up. Stone beast went down in ~20 hits.
Mana temple was a bit more tiresome: started training executor for it a little (humanoid slayer) and I was about level 6 when I arrived. After LOTS of hacking chaos servants, they got highly experienced and I started using wands of fire against them. Finally lured Nuurag out of his hole and killed him in about 6 shots.
Skipped a Dragon vault at D43 (they were burning my arrows at a high rate and I had little dragon slayers) and also skipped a greater UD vault at D46. Put orbs in place and went on to D50 (no potion of uselessness). Killed lots of writhing chaos with my 10 stacks of jelly slayers. Meleed the chaos warriors/servants/mutants with Executor. Somehow, I was only level 30 at this point (Nuurag brought me from 26 to 29 on his own).
Killed all bailors one by one with humanoid slayers (one went down in two shots :s). Only Fisty managed to endure the arrows (which were only 5 left at the end) but got executed by my cute axe. Left D50 with almost everything dead except for ~6 chaos wizards which were summoning large amounts of highly experienced chaos servants when I took a look. Ran out of the CoC via DF. Killed black unicorn and cleansed all corruptions. Found a wand of wishing with 4 charges in my inventory and used them all on PoGAs. Left the Drakalor Chain at level 47 after drinking all potions of boost/increase (potential) stat.
