Paladins are cursed for me...

My first Paladin executed himself with MM in the BUGCAV after defeating Keriax...

My second Paladin died of old age after crit by shadow lord after killing cat lord...

And now, after killing the Snake from Beyond and Drun, the doppleganger king, who guarded Protector I thought that I need potions of water and lure banshee to AF to chop some trees. I walk there for some time with a ring of ice (it was uncursed since I didn't have holy water) on my finger.
Hello fire vortex (so what, I have ring of ice) -> bee wax melts since that FREAKING RING OF ICE DECIDED NOT TO WORK THIS DAMNED TIME!!!!!!

Nope. You need fireproof blankets for stuff in your pack.

OP: Potions of Deafness should work just fine.

This is exactly why I just kill the sheep and move on. The number of monsters which can melt earwax is actually quite high. Also, not sure if RoIce helps here - am doubtful about 'equipped' status of wax in ones ears.

Made some tests - looks like Rings of Ice don't protect bee wax in ears, oh well..
I think I should really stop profiting on banshee's sorrow..

Anyway, the next paladin became lucky - 15th place on the server highscores :)
