The game was absurdly easy. Wizard is seriously overpowered. Magic Missile and Burning Hands took care of most enemies, although by the endgame I was reluctant to use MM, as the range got just too big and it was hard to avoid hitting myself.

Crowning gift was Staff of Archmagi. It's pretty useless, no reason not to use Nonnak + shield instead. TBH there is something wrong if a guaranteed, easily obtainable artifact makes an awesome weapon for a caster for the entire game.

Khelly died, as usual. Can't remember last time I found the amulet.

Rewards from the Maze are just insane. Axe + 6PoGA + 4PoCC I think, and a random artifact (scorched spear). No reason not to do it, on any char.

2 surges of power in mid CoC - Trusted One and Crown of Leadership. Trusted One is a decent weapon if you're not intending to actually kill stuff with it ;).

Grod and Shezestriakis in the casino, didn't bother.

After getting cat ring I had over 150 speed due to nice corruptions, it probably helped destroying everything, although seriously cut on xp.

Celestrix, Wyrmlance and RoResistance in a greater fire vault. That one was fun. Kited wyrms with Ice Ball, their ranged attacks barely scratched me. Got 10 or 12 levels there, wouldn't get to L50 if not for that vault.

New scrolls of power are pretty damn good, made eyes in the Mana Temple irrelevant. No need to withdraw and regenerate mana on D:50 either. Just Acid Ball till I ran out, then the scroll, and repeat. Had quite a stash left, but wasn't needed.

Overall, the game seemed easier than the previous version. Didn't notice Air and Earth Temples being more difficult. Mana Temple was easier than ever for some reason. No problems on D:50 either.

Only one wish entire game, wished for ?oEducation, got Gemology and Survival, yay. Earlier got Archery from !oEducation, trained it a bit but never really needed. Only came in useful against a greater titan on D:48.
