So, after my UCG, I decided to do a Lithium man with a random PC that has to stay the alignment started with. Further restrictions include: may only wield weapon types started with or skilled in. This includes both melee and missile. If the PC starts with a shield he/she way wield shields. May not equip anything else in weapon or missile/weapon slots than those weapon types. Merchants may throw gold.
The few unarmed points were obtained when I accidentily forgot to equip after herb training, sorry.
Don't know whether such a challenge exists, but was fun. Maybe Stubborn man? This Duelist almost never had his HP full.
I think about 20 PCs died in p12. I still have a hurthling beastfighter alive, but breaking my tradition will not play it because of magic bug.
First character rolled in p13 was this one.
I think I had about 2 encounters with jackals, but took Long Stride with every PC to avoid fighting in wilderness so was able to escape.
D:3 had a river but luckily I was able to reach the downstairs without having to swim(or is it drown?). I was not able to reach the ring shop though, until I had bought the helm of teleportation.
I spent quite some time between D:4 and D:6 to train a bit as the PC was taking damage all the time and had to run away often. I bought some lizards but never needed them, was satiated most of the time from corpse drops. Luckily stairs in Big Room was close together, so I was able to reach DT at lvl 7. Thrundarr was not asked about the portal. Was asked to slay a Hill Giant, this proved a difficult monster to find. Ruunt stole my mimic sac. Waldenbrook had a helm of Tele for sale.
Finished all the lvl above DT and sold junk(a lot is generated in this type of challenge:p)/sis for learning from Garth. D:8 delivered a Steel Amulet. Cleared 19 fights for more learning gold. Trained Le to 19 as I found a ring of mental stability. Could clear down to D:12 where the 2 downstairs was. Found a nice Adamantium battle axe. Which I wielded for very long as blink dogs were scarse. Stayed on D:12 for maybe 23000 turns trying to find glass wands/water/Hill Giant had found only 1 water.
Eventually a Hill Giant was spawned. Still no water or glass wands. I managed to get my Literacy up to 53 through level-ups, I desperately did not want the potion, as I only had the one water and did not want to spend it on blessing SoID. ID from Thrundarr revealed that the Steel Amulet was an AoLS. Funny how you find these things when not planning an ultra and vice versa.
Next was harvesting morgia from the one patch in the bigroom and fighting the hordes of Hill Giants spawned in the Big Room. Eventually found 2 glass wands and with booze was able to pacify. Trained Wi/To to max 18/25 I think.
DH:1 was easy, DH:2 almost killed me. Fire Giant hitting me with a huge rock. Luckily I had a SoT, no control yet. It teleported me to the corridor next to the downstairs room. Was able to get back to DT without further encounters. Finished all Thrundarr's quests. Traded the gladius for Tactics. Sold Big Punch. Is it maybe better to sac? sacced the Daemon. I was seriously hunting L+.
Eventually a blink dog corpse was just lying there on D:7, but PC was bloated. Dipped into the holy water I was saving. Ran back to DT to sell, but went to satiated before. At last I can get my weapon for the rest of the game.
Thrundarr was killed by a big dog.
Happily wielding Rolf's Companion saved kelly and cleared the water temple with the help of stilts and blessed 7lb(can't remember where I got them, maybe Big Room).
Abused the water Orb to get Wi potential to 30. Trained to max with morgia. Drank pot of exhange to get Dx and To swapped out. Abused Rolf's Companion to get To potential to 24. Trained with morgia.
Eventually got to L+ and crowned with =Fire and Hammerhead. Found a Ring of Ice somewhere. TF1 was extremely annoying because of a Dorn Beast adding to the spam and the stairs being far apart. Received Mana battery, so digged in with Hammerhead. Killed maybe 90 percent of the fire temple as ACW panicked. It is very hard without healing herbs. Ended drinking all my healing potions and using the water orb 8 times vs ACW adding 4 corruptions.
D:26 had a dark elf vault.
Casino had Giant Strenght +12, very helpful on a Duelist.(probably all classes)
D:32 had a white dragon vault, luckily I've found a white dragon scale mail somewhere.
Guardian was first attacked my a karmic dragon from a blessed scroll, but didn't move off the stairs. The uncursed scroll summoned a Master Lich, which's confusion attacks made him step off, shoo. Was worried about how to solve that one.
The rest of the game was mostly easy, except for the cat lord and Ancient Red Wyrm which made me pray twice. I managed to reach him without having slain any cats. Had no SeeInv(lies!!). Stumbled into him. Oh Oh.
Was able to hit him to panic, but then he countered and hit me to panic, so I ran away like a sissy. Irony is, I had an unIDed ring of See invisible.
D:40 had a giant vault
D:44 undead GV, which I skipped, although there was only one Emperor.
D:45 I converted N altar to L and sacced all gold, food.
D:46 giant GV had Celestrix and Crown of Leadership.
D:47 red dragon vault, where the Wyrm hit me hard twice making me pray.
UL: 1 had a hurthling scrolls shop.
D:50 had 11x7 mimic room, which I dug around.
I was unfortunately forced to throw Rolf's Companion on D:49, otherwise nothing else was thrown or shot/slung.
Edit - I just figured out that one doesn't need to use a missile to reach the downstairs, so this doesn't count as a Stubborn victory.
Oh, the glove slap thing is awesome. I was able to stun the Archmage on the 3rd slap.
