help with the volcano

I'm stuck at the bottom of the volcano.. this time I didn't die to the two guardians (god they're horrible) but now I can't figure out how to open the stone gate. I tried keys, digging (stone was too hard) and searched for secret doors but nothing seems to work. :confused: Did anyone figure out this part?

You need to use some source of fire which could affect all stone gate tiles at once. I assume you have your wand of fireballs from Thrundarr? If not, you could try to lure one of the fire vortexes to the gates and let him explode.

I don't know how much spoiling you're okay with, but the silver key would have made this a lot easier.

Being immune to weather effects protects against the toxic clouds, FYI. Druids and rangers will have a pretty easy time of it.

It rather help if you have the druid summon bears ability, since in the volcano they become ninja bears with laser eyes.

You cannot just enter volcano. Its too high and too hot! However...
