I don't know how much HP he has, but he fell in 5-6 throws. For comparison, on lesser undead a single potion is an instant kill.
Holy water is better off used to bless items, however, instead of as ammunition. I was just angry he made me spend almost all my sickness removal at the time... and non-exchange potions never miss, so...

I wonder how hard it is to train the cute dog to kill the raider lord. Or other bosses...

In my early days of playing ADOM I recall throwing a lot of holy water, oh those days were fun.
Chaos Archmage with drakeling spit, outranging his spells thanks to very high strength. And then going and spitting all the balors to death.
Tiny girl with a cute dog corpse anyone?

Alright. Next time I get to Drakon I'll kill him with a cute puppy corpse cause it was ultimately his fault. The monster.

Zapping a bunch of wands in a corridor during a desperate situation; one of them ends up being a wand of ball lightning that randomly bolts and kills the monster that was causing me trouble.
Throwing a tinderbox past a monster to aggro it, and ending up one-shotting it instead.

Dug through a wall of the battle bunny level, instantly ended Bugs with a Death Ray... ahh, peace. I didn't even know Death Ray worked on unique enemies like Bugs!
Diamond golem with bare fists and no armor.
Diamond golems just laugh at armor anyway, don't they? =}

Anyone killed a criminal by throwing the book (a tract of order, I guess) at him?

My low lvl duelist encountered a doppelganger lord in UD6 or 7 after going through a corridor which led to the room with staircase.
I had no confusion resistance and no other reasonable means of killing him without dying myself.
He blocked my way and certainly I had no intention of going back up and through SMC again.
I decided to enter an unexplored room and promptly moved to pick up a blanket on the uppermost tile with still 4 spaces between me and my evil twin, unknowingly bypassing not one but two(!) traps in a direct line to the next room.
Enter the doppelganger lord, first mutilated by acid then crushed by stone block. Fun.

Obviously such a good likeness that the dungeon itself thought he was the player...
