games like Adom

What are the some games you think people would like if they like Adom. I am not looking 'hey I like this', more RPGs in a similiar spirit to Adom. We all know about Tome and Nethack. I prefer games that are 'difficult' and have alot of choices and are roguelikes. No coffee break ones. No 'non roguelikes'.

If you like Adom you will like Elona. Get the elona+ mod since its just larger. Its harder than Adom. Some skills/items are similiar. It is significantly different and it is more difficult.

Legerdemain. It's not 100% roguelike because the world is not randomly-generated and it has no permadeath. But it does have all the rest of the characteristics of roguelikes (some even expanded - not ASCII but Unicode! :))

It is a heavily story-driven game, more so than ADOM. The world, the setting, the creatures and the dungeons are really awesome.

Please don't discard it outright for not having permadeath (it just wouldn't fit for such a long game - it's significantly longer than ADOM) and try this jewel.
