Here's mine. Yikes! I'm a Salamander-born ratling chaos knight, playing on pre13. I start with the body tissues decay corruption, so my HP recovery is terrible.

Level 12, halfway through the UD, found morgia/moss/stoma herbs and an altar. Got to favoured status thanks to a nearby orc vault, may push for a divine gift. A bit too easy really! No offensive spell other than my starting fire bolt though.

MY Dwarf Merchant is still alive. Decided to do a Stubborn Lithium again. Had a very tough time, prayed somewhere between 10-20 times already, N altar on D:2 converted.
Secured stoma, moss, morgia, pepper in B room. Have wand and scroll and potion to charge to pacify. Cleared everything to DT, currently hunting Werewolf Lord.

Edit

Killed by invisible stalker on D:5 after he had his equipment dusted by praying once too often after being hit down to 23 HP by a hill orc sergeant in big room.
Reached xl 11. 16 divine interventions in total. Had a backup club which got dusted by praying again, managed to milk another from a caveman. Well, invisible stalkers hit a bit hard when you are naked and cursed.

Sally just died after a rather short adventure x-) At first she tried to go for the healer quest, but there was a tension room with large bats on VD1 blocking the way to the downstairs. She then retreated and tried to level up a little on the first levels of the ID. Managed to reach lvl4 with some problems... tried to be a rock-missile-fighter, but somehow she was not very lucky with her hits, so she had to flee from more or less everything but rats. Well, and then she got hit by a rat, directly got sickened of course. No prayers, so she had to walk around with 2 HP. In the end she got killed by a giant frog.

went down and out through the HMV, back the long way to town. Tooling around at 12th level, looking for a useable altar. Still can't read.

edit:
killed so many dark sage, no corpse. So got dwarf quests, took on pyramid. went neutral for the altars, still scumming for herbs despite being at potential. I can hope for exchange, right? Lucky needs an AoLS and might think about an ultimate win! Not desperate enough to dig yet, and hate pool sipping, so I'll wait, try the high cave. Only problem - forgot my first kill creature )-:

Elven archer is insanely powerful. Took the healing quest but got ambushed by roving raiders on the first step towards the dungeon. Ofcourse I one-shotted them all easily (except Kranach who took 3 shots) and gained 3100 gold pieces from Tywat Pare. Went to the Carpenter anyway after that and found a neutral altar on D2. Converted to neutral and identified my equipment.
Saved the carpenter and made my first mistake after that: went to ID newly found equipment but I was converted to L again by saving the carpenter, so my worn equipment got destroyed. Converted carefully to N again and then identified back-up equipment which is pretty okay too (but alas no more elven chainmail +0 +7!)

Lol and died already to the first threat room I encountered in the puppy cave. Got confused by a doppleganger and stumbled into the room where I quickly died to a DE warrior and 2 chaos sisters and various other stuff (the sisters damaged my armor.. didn't know they could do that)

dopplegangers are to archers what ghuls are to mindcrafters :)
If you had any wands, standardly using those for dopplegangers might be a good safety measure

You can remove it if you get your piety up to "very close", or eat a karmic corpse, or use a scroll of luck.

[edit]Also, my chaos knight died in the UD. My HP recovery was so pitiful and I didn't have enough food to stand around waiting for it to recover. Was fighting with 23/121 HP for a lot of the time. A couple lucky hits was all that was needed to knock me out.

Gah, I knew that. Just thought it was sooner than 'very close'

FYI, manged to get it removed - found an alter next to the downstairs in the Skely King's cave. Made it easy to get to 'diety favors you greatly' message.
Oh wait, that's a new message. Remind me not to pray, so I don't crown by accident.

It is "favours". Absolutely or extremely close follows greatly. So do pray to save your character's life.

Didn't need it. Broke down, started pool sipping. (and earlier, I stupidly read a scroll of item destruction, and poof both my water proof blankets were dusted.)
First sip: Bitter taste
Second: slip into pool, drench a bunch of useful scrolls, including chaos removal - gah!
Third: snakes
Fourth: Hot diggity dang, got the wish! Kelevastar, here I come!

Water level done, saving for the night. (and wondering if it's worth dragging the carcass back for the potion. no 7lbs, so I'm worried about time.)
Pissed that I don't have fire resist intrinsic.

A dark elf, so at least has Find Weakness.
Next stop: ACW. Just need to remember which disablers to use, assuming I don't want to use a corruption removal on it.

Hm. ACW wasn't too hard, didn't heal itself much. (WI of 26+ is noice)
Training arrow / crossbow all over the place. Nice having some flexible ammo - unerring bolts of slaying.
Diving deep, deep now past the casino, looking for 7lbs so I can move in the countryside. Cat Lord was hard, and only gave me one lousy level. (25 now)
Day 84, so will be hard getting to the place by the day. I guess it's 120 then.

Amazingly for a Beastfighter, I was able to learn Teleportation spell!

It sounds as if your character is in good shape. It's still a long haul ahead, best of luck. Remember you can come clean of corruption just prior to your final dive to D:50, which will take only a few in game minutes with teleportation.

Both my Beasties had learned teleportation from Khelavaster's gift and I think that was still when we had the increased spell learning "bug" as people called it.

Yeah, doing pretty well. Just finished the Maze, got the goodies (stupid axe), considering the Rift. But I think it's sleep now, no YASD tonight. That, or boar hunting.

I would just forget about ultra if I were you. Beastfighters are the worst class to do an ultra with, for two reasons:

1. Your damage and to-hit with the ToTRR will suck, but you must equip it (at least when you kill him).
2. Your level 40 class power will make Andor Drakon teleport randomly all over the place, so that you get corrupted to death while chasing him.

In case you want to try it anyway, you can find boars by dooming yourself (for example by wearing the crown of science) and walking around in forests in the wilderness. This will only work if you are at least level 15.

So you advise stocking on on wands of detect monster and teleport then as part of the final assault. I'm going ultra, can't stop me now! Well except I forgot what my first kill was, so I'm winging it there.

Wands of paralyzation are better, that way he won't teleport away in the first place. ;)

Ook, blew it when acquiring a Farmer corpse - was crowned, but went C when they died. Thought I could make a trap, trigger it without incurring the wrath. Now I'm a fallen champion of Neutral. Medal of Chaos anyhow.

Those two barbarians with whome I managed to close the gate were a wand-born dark elf and a unicorn-born dwarf. I can definitely recommend both. The dark elf was a little fragile in the beginning, but after he found a good weapon, his skillset made him a true beast. The dwarf was a tank from the very beginning... maybe my easiest win so far.

well, cursed, doomed, and fallen, I continue down again.
Getting all my loot together, I go down. Even the White Unicorn turned against me, went hostile. I suppose I have no friends left in this world, so I will go down and slay anything and everything.

Managed to convert an alter to C, remove Cursed (via scroll of luck) and Dooming by sacrificing a room full of mimics and all my old Si. No more flogging the alters, I just will kill. Have a huge amount of scrolls of Corruption removal, potions of it too. Time to make everybody suffer.
