What is the status of greater vaults in later prereleases?

After a recent venture into a greater undead vault, I was reminded of how some of my characters found only greater giant vaults and how easy going that is in comparison. Clearing a greater undead vault is like clearing the mana temple, while a giant vault is like the earth temple. In the other the monsters might hit hard and take punishment, but you can always simply retreat, while in the other you have to get to the root of the problem if you want it cleared. And getting to the root usually means standing next to lich kings and getting your stats drained.

So having no access to later prereleases I was wondering if anything has changed so far in the giant vault?

Not so far. There has been an RFE regarding adding some new greater vault types, but nothing has come through yet.
