Need Help

Hello Adom fans. I play this wonderful game about 10 years now and i won 2 times this month. The first with dwarf wizard and the second with dwarf assasin!
I want to thanks Silfir and Gorgon for their vids at youtube. I love them!

I want to ask you something about changing the font in version 1.2 pre 20

Is it possible ? I want Dos like ascii but when i change the cfg file nothing happens. Am a win 7 64bit system.

I search forum and all talk about cfg and lines font = "etc"

So is it possible to view an old school Adom in my win7 in pre 20 or not ?

If you're on the ASCII version, you can do the following:


download and install the "Perfect DOS VGA 437" font
add these lines to your adom.cfg file:

Font_Name=Perfect DOS VGA 437
Font_Size=12
save it and run the game.

thx that work fine! i had the Noteye version and i couldnt change the font!

it was nice to see my paladin die from that damn stone giant in high mountain village in Dos ascii :)

Can tips like these be added to the FAQ? I feel like a really detailed, exhaustive "how to customize your graphics" section along with 9 or 10 pre-made graphic modes (with screenshots, say with different mini-map settings, fonts, etc.) to download would be really appreciated, especially by new players. (or recently returned old players) I know I spent a good hour and a half fiddling with my display settings to get everything "perfect", a walkthrough would be nice. :)
