Because the general thread is quite active and it can be easy to miss things, I have decided to create a thread here which will contain (hopefully) all important information about the current game status, including new missions. Please refrain from posting in this thread otherwise. Thanks.

Team Earth: 11
Team Air: 15
Team Fire: 16
Team Water: 7
Team Indecisive: 5
Team Mana: 7
The Official Rules are as follows:
Getting Started:
-Players will form into teams of five. Ideally, each team will be headed by an experienced player/forum leader to keep things organized.
-Each team will be assigned five races more or less at random. From these, the team will rank all of the classes in order of preference, and classes will be assigned to each team as well. From their given race/class, the team will roll five characters. Each team will have a Chaos Knight.
-These characters will be the same characters that the team will play for every mission. It is critical that you immediately create and post (to your team thread) an initial save for your character in case of death.
-Race/class are chosen from the draw. You may choose whatever gender your wish for your PC. Do not use the question system. Do not reroll starsigns, corruptions for your CK, stats, etc. Whatever you start with is what you get.
Completing Missions:
-The team will be assigned a mission. Each member of the team will take one of their characters and attempt to complete the mission with that character. New missions will appear approximately every 5 days, or when all teams have completed.
-You may play any of your team's characters, subject to the restriction that you may not play the same character twice in a row. Each team member should also have the opportunity to play each character at least once.
-Please play your character on the current public prerelease version 1.2.0 pre20.
-You must fulfill all of the objectives of the mission to complete. However, you are required to fulfill the letter of the rules, not necessarily the spirit of them. Creative interpretations of the objectives may be accepted within reason. Successful completion is worth 1 point to your team.
-If the PC dies or does not fulfill all of the objectives, no points will be awarded.
-Character who are unable to fulfill their missions (ie. run out of turns, fail in some other way) may be continued forward in the next mission. If you are deemed to have intentionally failed a mission in order to access unallowed areas or spend copious amounts of extra turns in play, this may be counted as a death at my discretion.
-If a PC dies, they will be regenerated from the previous savegame. Mission 1 deaths must be regenerated from the beginning. If your character has died, you will have 50% more turns than to complete the new mission per consecutive death. Eg. Suppose each mission is 6000 turns. If a PC dies in Mission 1, then they will have 9000 (+50%) turns to complete Mission 2. If this same character dies again, then they will have 12000 (+100%) turns to complete the following mission. If you fail a mission, you are not required to complete the objectives of that mission in the following one (though it may be unavoidable in some circumstances).
-Post your character after success/failure of each mission, a detailed log or video recording of what happened is strongly encouraged. Also, upload your savegame, of course! It seems to help to .zip your savegame.
-Once your entire team is completed, please post your team results onto the General Thread so the scoreboard can be updated.
Playing Your Turn:
-Before you load your game, be sure to consult this thread for your Mission Objectives. This will give instructions on exactly what you need to accomplish and how long you have to do it. Note that certain areas are often off-limits in a given mission. Be sure to pay attention to those areas.
-Also, be sure to check to see if your character has been assigned a special corruption. These may further limit your characters abilities ingame. Failing to abide by the restrictions of your special corruption is also counted as a failure. Your special corruption status will be posted along with the mission, and I'll note it in your team thread as well.
-Load your save. Be sure that it is the most recent incarnation of your PC. If it is a dead PC, you will need to track down the last available savegame.
-Be sure you complete all of the objectives. Most missions will require you to travel to a specific location at the end. Be sure to save a few turns for this.
-Each mission will have a fixed turn limit, generally around 6000. You will be given 50 turns grace on your final count, but if you cannot complete your objectives within this turn limit, it will be counted as a failure.
-Each mission should be completed before the next mission is assigned. If you cannot play during this period for whatever reason, let your team know so that someone can cover for you or other arrangements can be made.
-It is strongly advisable that you leave good notes for the next player, documenting useful information, intrinsics, item caches, dangerous monsters escaped, etc. Remember that you're part of a team, and other players may visit those areas.
-If your team is winning, your characters may get assigned a special corruption. This is a special restriction that will be applied to one or more of your characters, and may include things such as: Not being allowed to cast spells, must always dual wield, cannot carry more than 1000s of gear. This restriction will expire after one mission, regardless of success or failure. Failing to abide by the restriction will count as failure. This restrictions will be lifted at the end of the turn, win or lose.
-Savescumming is absolutely prohibited. You have one chance to attempt the mission. If there is evidence to suggest you were savescumming, you may fail the mission or even be ejected from the game.
Finishing Your Turn, Failures, Rule Infractions, etc.
In order to get a point, you must successfully complete all of the mission objectives within the allotted time. Additionally, you must abide by any corruption rules, if present.
If you die, you get no points, and you must restart from previous save. This PC is not considered for the corruption lottery.
If you run out of turns without completing your objective, you must save right away and end your turn. If you do this, the team can pick up from where your save left off, but you get no points (and no extra turns, unlike dead PCs).
If you unintentionally overplay by more than 50 turns, this counts as a failure (eg. you got paralysis locked for a long time or tried to read a very hard spellbook). You should save the PC as soon as you notice the overplay. You will get no points, but you may continue from this save.
If you intentionally overplay by more than 50 turns, this counts as a death. I would expect that any overplay by more than a few hundred turns is probably intentional.
If you unintentionally visit a restricted area (eg. Iridia's misunderstanding of mission rules), this counts as a failure, but you may continue to the end of your turn, save your game, and the next player will continue where you left off.
If you intentionally visit a restricted area, this counts as a death. Generally, I will assume this is the case unless you can convince me otherwise.
If you fail to abide by a special corruption you were given, this results in a failure. You can play till the end of your turn, save your game, and the next player will continue where you left off. There will be a bit of latitude given with this one depending on the type of corruption--the burden one, as noted in the description, has some flexibility already built in. Characters who lose inventory slots that hold cursed items will need to uncurse and remove those items as soon as possible. If they do not have the appropriate uncursing items, they may keep those slots active until uncursing items are found, but then must remove the items immediately. If this takes an excessively long time (more than 25% of mission length), then that character will receive a special corruption the following turn automatically, regardless of success or failure (but not death).
Absent Players:
When a mission has 24 hours left, I will make an announcement indicating that is the case. After this happens then:
-If a player has:
1) Not completed their mission
and
2) Not indicated in a recent (previous 24 hours) post indicating that they are still playing and intend to finish
then that player may be declared MIA by their team.
-If a player has been declared MIA, then any player on their team may choose to play their character and attempt to finish the mission. However, if that player has already received points for the mission, then they will not receive any points (but they can still build up the PC). Ie. if teams wish to receive points for an MIA character, then players who have died/failed the mission should attempt it.
-If there are multiple MIA players, then different members of the team should play those characters.
-If the MIA player does return with a completed character, the official result will be whichever of the two players posted first.
-Players are strongly encouraged to keep their team up-to-date on when they intend to play, especially if they can't play until near the end of the mission.
-If a player knows in advance that they will be unable to complete a mission within the specified time period, they may declare themselves immediately MIA. In such case, any team member who has already finished their own character may immediately begin play on the MIA player's save.
Mission Hints:
Mission 1:
You'll be looking for an item. It's not too hard to find, if you know where to look.
Mission 2:
Wishing for phase daggers might not be a bad idea.
Mission 3:
You will have to make a great sacrifice.
Mission 4:
This one will require you to be a bit sneaky.
Mission 5:
You will have to do something in this mission you have almost certainly never done before. This one is really hard.
Mission 6:
You knew this one was coming sooner or later.
Mission 7:
All the way down... This is the longest mission.
Mission 8:
There will be some epic battles in this one.
Mission 9:
The grande finale.
Special Corruptions:
At the start of each mission (except the first) a special corruption will be applied to one character on the first place team (who has not died in the previous mission), or, in the event of a tie, to all of the teams currently in first place. The special corruption will introduce a particular gameplay restriction to that character designed to enhance the difficulty in play. Failing to abide by the rules of the special corruption will count as a mission failure.
Special corruptions will be assigned to a random character on the team, selected randomly from the list below:
1 Arcane forces around you are dampened!
You cannot cast spells
2 Your pack feels extraordinarily heavy.
You cannot carry more than 1000s of gear. Some grace will be given for minor, inadvertant violations, but you are expected to be diligent. Mind your sis!
3 Your right hand suddenly vanishes!
You cannot use your right hand or right ring equipment slots. You also cannot use any two-handed weapons or two handed missile launchers (bows, crossbows).
4 You feel that the gods have abandoned you.
You cannot interact with the gods in any way; you can't pray, sacrifice, bless holy water, use holy symbols, or ID gear on altars.
5 You suddenly become highly allergic to liquids.
You cannot drink any potions.
6 Everything far away suddenly seems blurry.
You cannot use missiles of any kind.
7 Nothing seems to happen when you wave these sticks around!
You cannot use wands.
8 You suddenly learn to read a rare and ancient language… but forget your own!
You cannot read books or scrolls.
9 You suddenly find you detest gaudy ornamentation
You cannot wear rings or amulets.
10 You find yourself unable to keep track of time.
You have 25% fewer turns to complete the mission.
11 An uncontrollable rage overcomes you.
You must use berserk tactics for the entire mission.
12 An uncontrollable panic overcomes you
You must use very defensive or coward tactics for the entire mission.
13 Your armor feels unbelievably itchy.
You cannot wear body armor for this mission.
14 You are possessed by the spirit of a crazed ranger.
You must dual wield for the entire mission. You must also rename your character to "Boo".
15 The smell of meat disgusts you.
PC cannot eat meat of any kind.
