Adom Wiki - Elementalist Crowning Gifts

I've been enjoying the Ancardia wikia articles but I just received Protector as a crowning gift as a Gnome Elementalist. It's not listed as a possible gift so I thought this might need to be addressed on the wiki. I did some cruising on the website but didn't find who to contact about things like this. It's quite an impressive project and I wouldn't want to ugly it up.

You must have been precrowned instead.

As SirTheta suggested, are you sure you got a true crowning, as opposed to a precrowning? I'm thinking that's the most likely explanation, although it's possible for crowning gifts to have been shuffled off the record.

It's a little weird how the wiki seems to assume everyone is playing 1.1.1 still. There are numerous references to tactics that simply don't work anymore.

The good news is that anyone can edit articles to fix that sort of detail ;)

Currently, when something is changed between 1.1.1 and 1.2.0, we leave a note mentioning this. See the "Scumming" or "What to wish for" pages, for example. I suppose that as 1.2.0 final and subsequent versions are released in the future, "old" information would have to be purged or archived, as to the average player it'd be mostly useless and may even cause confusion.

The bulk of wiki pages were written for 1.1.1 (aside for awesome work done by Nightcrawler), so it's not surprising that a lot of tactics are about 1.1.1. People are slowly changing that, but there are barely any editors now (not that there were really many of them even before).

Oh, I didn't know the wiki was that old. I had assumed it was created sometime in the past year or two.
