So, Candy Dash (his parents probably wanted a pony) got few starting skills, one of the lower possible rolls, and only two of them were useful (Dodge and Detect Traps), and good, but not stellar starsign - Tree. The game went fine (SMC with my raccoon, VD for healing, CoC, lots of altars so early precrowning with robe of resistance and crowning (due to misclick) with shock immunity and cat claw) but I managed to wrench the last charge of the guaranteed teleport wand trying to teleport away a cat from the Arena and canceled the teleport thinking it would save the wand. It didn't and so I lost the wand and had to kill the cat. I summoned some monsters to kill the cat but apparently music doesn't work on the Arena at all, so I failed kitty quest even as a bard ><

Well, I learned some new things this run, I finally learned how to use tactics properly (my archers usually either shot on Berserk or fled on Coward, so my bards till this one fought on Berserk too which didn't train shields), also I learned how to drown beggars in the Water Cave :3 I learned how to slay them with a special beggar-slaying pet in the previous game. Bards are a really fun class, to be able to make cats die for you, to make spiders eat their masters, and even with Bug Temple being very hard to tame something there now, I had some fun taming wild boars, they are like poor man killer bugs and can be quite powerful. I had an idea to wish for killer bugs in some place where they could be easily tamed but didn't have a spare wish for that. I still don't know why stats sometimes change without any message and visible reason though.

So, of my game, I stole another wand of teleport in Darkforge 1 (and I appreciate pick pocketing now), my bard had a decent DV and PV, but didn't have a decent weapon of any kind for the whole game so killing things was tedious, when I cleared Darkforge I shot like 2-3 dozens of arrows in every steel golem, it trained bows quite a bit and hit stronger than my spear, but required an extensive barbarian milking. Pool sipping gave me a wish (AoLS), invisibility, then I proceed, lost invisibility, was doomed several times (removed each time), got teleportisis, lost teleport control, aged, but finally ended with permanent invisibility again and without teleportisis, but no second wish, alas. There I learned that invisibility isn't always great, blink dogs didn't see me and having stabbing at 100% I OHKO them even unarmed, my companions didn't see me either. I had a large stack (13, finished with 4) of general slaying arrows as well as dragon slaying arrows and mastery in bows so Snake and ACW were easy. The only good spell which I learned at lvl 18 was magic mapping (still it sucks as a spell), and lvl 25 was meh too, I trained as many skills as I could to 100 but I still got improvement of Haggling (><) and Swimming, 3 useless skills and Food Preservation which is nice but rather late to have at lvl 25.

Cat Lord guarded downstairs and so I had to kill him with my slaying arrows, it was surprisingly easy when I had 1 cat kill. I killed every cat which I met after that since their defender was dead. Clearing Air Temple I cared to drop a lot of things before entering but I forgot to take off 7LB and lost them, found a RoDS and wished for Find Weakness. That skill is made of win, it improved my damage drastically, Earth Temple was very tedious anyway, except the boss fighting which was easy with a PoCC and slaying ammo. I bought a lot of stuff in Casino and dived to Mana Temple, on UC5 I met 23 greater titans who opened the door of their room and began to roam... It was all *THUMB* *THUMB* *THUMB* *THUMB*, it was ridiculous. I hardly killed one drinking potions and shooting most of my slaying and humanoid slaying arrows and managed to sneak past them. Mana Temple was hard, I shot all slaying arrows (you see, my boss fights were kind of samely, unlike the previous attempt who killed ACW with wand of poison), then all slaying quarrels and then finished the archmage with ordinary arrows being hit by his spells a lot. It was so much easier as an archer . I teleported past titans, went to D:50 and used monster on levers method (I could clear the whole D:50 since I eventually got the OP trident and still had few slaying and demon slaying arrows, but decided to try it another way). Also I summoned a familiar on D:50, got an ordinary earth elemental who killed few chaos servants and chaos jellies and then either died or fled, I hoped for somebody more epic and kept that scroll for D:50 for so long.
