Heyo!
Just a few questions from a pretty terrible player. :P

Playing with Dwarven Monk.
I'm able to dive the middle-layers of the CoC with out problems, except for one...

Whenever I carry above 1.8k stones, due to my measly 20Str, I go Burdened.
I'm considering diving with little to no backpack and just picking up potions and scrolls, but it's pretty sad to have dropped both a Crystal Tower and an Eternium Spear (was considering switching to weapons, but could not due to weight/untrained in both shields and polearms).

I'm hoping training Str will easily solve this problem, should I start training with Garth or sprinting for the Casino?

SideNote: Waldenbrook has a preserver for sale. It's too expensive, how does one rob Walden without angering the entire city (darkness + ???) ?

Unless you're really set on using unarmed fighting or robes, you can just pick up a weapon/shield and use them. Weapon marks train pretty fast anyway.

Training St with Garth will require a large pile of cash to get more than a couple increases. Casino works, though I'm guessing you don't have the fire orb (which you need to get to Casino), otherwise you wouldn't be having this problem (as it gives +10 St). Also, gambling is somewhat corrupting now. You can get a few hundred thousand without taking a corruption. I think it's ~1 corruption per half million or so.

You can play ninja light inventory, yeah. Drop unnecessary food, ammo, gold, weapons, tools, etc. Anything you don't need. It's a bit tricky especially if you aren't practiced at it.

If you're in a position to get talents, be sure to grab porter/master packager/beast of burden for 72% more inventory. For an unarmed monk, it's really nice to get this early. A girdle of carrying will do you wonders as well.

I think if you bolt Walden out of sight + in darkness, you get the least harmful effect. Note that shopkeeper will still be hostile and is pretty powerful.

Thank you for the help Jelly.
I think I' ll be aiming for the BoB.
I remember gambling in 1.1.1 being in one turn, as long as you didn't stop hitting the space bar. Does it now cycle through a turn every use?

No, it still takes one turn. Corruption is nonetheless added in some way.
