So, I finally won p21. Archer crowned with Thunderstroke way overpowered. New location changes a lot, got to level 27 before ToEF, and didn't even do the Maze. Also, a guaranteed greater vault can yield some artifacts to make the tower easier, in this case got Brannalbin's cloak (quite neat) and hammer of the gods (junk). Robbed Casino for Executor, was worth 4.3M and then over 7M after restock. Got True Aim somewhere below the Casino, useful as a backup missile. One wish spend on Find Weakness, Aylas Holy Scarf as uselessness gift.

Monster generation right now is insane, the lower levels are full of ancient dragons and wyrms of all kinds, (greater) titans, (greater) molochs, etc. Even balors in the UL, but they were surprisingly weak and didn't give much exp. Corruption currently is barely noticeable, got maybe 3 corruptions during the game.

Gaining levels was much more balanced than in previous versions, now it was more or less linear throughout. Mainly because of XP-rich monsters.

Loot generation is insane too, in the endgame I didn't even bother with it. With the increased rate and much more dragons, probably too much of it.

And finally, I must reiterate how overpowered this class is. Even with all those deadly things around, there simply was no serious danger to the char. Fistanarius died in exactly two shots. So much for being a "greater" balor :P.

Ha - fair enough. I guess it will be interesting to try with some elves as they should benefit massively from the increased HP.

I'd hazard a guess that ToEF will be easier overall, simply because of more possibilities before going in. Harder monsters mean more XP to gather in CoC upto wall of flames, and add in IC and FGJC, with a guaranteed greater vault. Which would also mean that the Maze should be accesible before ToEF without grinding required. So we're looking at a higher level char, with possibly artifacts from greater vault and/or mino emperor (axe!), stats boosted by PoGAs, rewards from Ice Queen (unknown as yet) or chaos diplomat (a nice sword there), and more more loot overall.
