So, I accidentally killed Dak

Instead of chatting with him, I scorched him with a fireball and was forced to kill him. This was after Thrundarr gave me the quest to become the champion. Am I completely screwed or can I beat the game still? I'll be pretty upset if I stupidly screwed myself over since I've never gotten this far before.

None of the Thrundarr quests are required, besides the "portal" quest.
Although the tactics from the GG is nice. :(

Portal quest isn't required either if you can kill Thrundarr/make him move.

But for killing the arena master... well you just won't get Tactics and "The Big Punch", tactics is nice to have and the artifact mace may be helpful for some characters too. Hm, I wonder if you can wish for Dak.
