I've never seen it cavernous either. There is a cavernous level around there, typically D:36-37 but it's the first time I see the cat level like this.

Wait, what's making you think it's the Cat Lord level? It shows D:37, just where cavernous levels should be. IIRC Cat Lord level is earlier.

Oh - Ravenshire claimed it was the master cat level and by the time I responded I'd forgotten that he wasn't the one who posted the original topic.
So, the white @ is actually a doppleganger x [probably king] - not cat lord.

That's my banshee level. And no. I did not use wand of door creation. Had autosearch from Shirt of the Saints and was little baffled when secret doors started to pop up.

The Banshee room is an even number of tiles tall, so this occurs in [almost?] all games - the room generation algorithm can't quite handle the hookup to the room since it expects an odd number height, so you get a row of doors.
