New type of monster in a vault?

I have just encountered a greater... karmic vault.

All of the monsters inside are indeed karmic.

Has anybody ever seen something like this?

I suppose it's reasonable that there can be a karmic vault since all the other dragon colors are covered but this is seriously the first time I see something like this.

They are very, very rare, but I have seen them before, IIRC.

I encountered one with my ULE Drakeling Paladin (first legit win) - luckily I had a surge of power earlier that game in PC:7 with whirlwind and had an ant level which I left along a few levels above the vault so it was a piece of cake :)

Lots of great loot to be had there. I recall getting four levels or so + a wish out of the vault.

Lots of very experienced monsters there. I'm a lvl 25 raven-born GE mindcrafter with the trident but it takes a lot of love to bring down those monsters, even the baby dragons.
I haven't yet reached the ancient ones, it takes a lot of time. Had about 30 arrows and quarrels of dragon slaying but with the current destruction rate, I'm almost out.
Nasty vault, but yes, the loot is great.

What does a white D on the screenshot do there? A transfer student?

Could be - could just be a differently colored karmic as their color change is not guaranteed to be in sync iirc.

Actually their color was always the same when detected by mindcrafter's power.
That white D was actually a random ancient white dragon.
Lots of loot in that vault, silver key and death's blade were the only artifacts though :/

I've had one of these on a grey elf archer. Sounds like the perfect class to do with, no?

No acid resistance = Very dead archer.

Luckily confused dragons don't use breath attacks when outside of melee so I could cut down on item destruction.
